Join us for an engaging presentation by historian Marvin Kabakoff from Queer History Boston about Weimar Germany (1918 – 1933)! Learn more about the political situation and the context for the amazing cultural explosion of the time in art, architecture, theater, film, and sexuality. You’ll also get the chance to learn about Magnus Hirschfeld and the Institute for Sexual Science and all the work it did in promoting equal rights for all queer people in the early 1900’s.
