We are thrilled to announce our second Served With Pryde: Community Lunch & Conversation! As Women’s History Month wraps up on Monday, March 31st, we have a very special program about the history of women in sports. Come meet “herstorians” Kathy Bertrand and Linda Lundin, whose unique collection of memorabilia, photographs and artifacts ranging from the All American Girls Professional Baseball League to women in sports dating back as early as the 1880s, is archived at Bridgewater State University.
Kathy and Linda have curated special exhibits for universities and museums and lecture widely to ensure that the rich history and achievements of women’s sports pioneers and superstars, as well as the barriers they faced, is never forgotten. If you loved “A League of Their Own,” you do not want to miss this program. Prepare to be inspired!
