Living While Mortal – Writing your HeartWill® as a Manifesto for Living

November 12 @ 10:00 am12:30 pm
Reflect on your life story and who and what matters most. Write lasting messages for those you love and for future generations. NO CHARGE

No matter what kind of life you live, how much money you have, or what you think of your accomplishments, consider that you have a legacy. Inside a thoughtful and dynamic group process you will reflect on your life and begin drafting lasting messages for those you love and future generations. Writing your Heart Will® (sometimes referred to as an ethical will or legacy letter) will give you peace of mind that nothing is left unsaid. Contemplating your legacy this way is a powerful discovery process that will support you to live your remaining days with meaning and purpose.

Through personal exploration, creative expression, and connecting with others, you’ll clarify your values, reflect on your life, and express what matters most. You’ll be supported to begin crafting a message that can be shared at a goodbye ritual, after your death, or even while you’re still here—offering a heartfelt window into your inner world.

You’ll work with over 20 thought-provoking prompts in Willow’s free How to Write Your Heart Will® guide, to support you to live with greater clarity, purpose, and intention. The result? A personal manifesto and a lasting legacy—both for yourself and those you love.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Explore your life story by engaging with others in reflective and creative exercises.
  • Discover how to craft your Heart Will® as a tool for self-reflection, healing, and legacy writing.
  • Begin writing a message that expresses who you are and how you want to be remembered.

This event is brought to you in part by ETHOS and LGBTQ Senior Housing. It will take place in person in the Community Room at The Pryde in Hyde Park.
