Creative Storytelling Workshops with Amanda Shea
Session 5: The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Each session will include light creative warm-ups, hands-on activities, and opportunities for participants to share, reflect, and celebrate their stories. Max. of 12 participants.
Overview: A creative music + memory workshop where participants build personal soundtracks based on key life eras, and write or speak about what those songs meant.
Activities:
- Amanda shares songs from her life & what they signify
- Participants choose 3–5 songs that shaped them
- Group listening + storytelling session
Takeaway: Curated playlist created for each participant (burned CD or digital link)
These storytelling workshops are designed to honor LGBTQ+ elder voices, foster community connections, and create space for personal expression through poetry, visual art, music, and memory. Amanda Shea will guide each session with care, creativity, and intention.
