Where creativity, arts education, and cultural expression is visible and accessible to all.
FICC is excited to host Creating Resilience: Art Therapy Workshop Series for Mental Health in a Changing Climate in 2025! We’re partnering with Brenda Echeverry from Art + Soul Clinic, a Dorchester-based expressive arts therapist and teaching artist, to bring you this transformative experience. These workshops offer powerful tools for cultivating emotional strength, mindfulness, and community connection
This 3/5 series workshop will explore creative ways to build resilience. In this session, participants will explore the calming process of crafting with clay, fostering mental well-being in the face of a changing climate. Through this session, we invite you to channel your emotions into creative expression, building resilience and hope in the face of climate challenges. Together, we’ll craft not only clay masterpieces but also pathways to emotional balance and connection.
No previous art experience is required—just bring your curiosity and an open heart! Light food and refreshments will be provided.
Don’t miss this opportunity to nurture your well-being, build resilience, and create a brighter future together!
